Unhappy low air flow from vents

Aoa dear members.. i have honda city 1999.. airflow is reduced in this season as compared to before . mechanic told he has to remove dashboard and then he will check air leaking and clogging in heater core bla bla ....he thinks that there is a issue of foam not set properly as car is old foam is compressed enough moreover he said there is little air leaking from windscreen vents while air direction is set toward to face in dashboard button ...

is he right ???? foam can be the issue??

he said it will cost rs 1800 labour + foam .... kindly guide me

second thing he said cooling is not good coz air flow is not appropriate and u have raxine poshish over seats ... remove your poshish ...and use genuine seats cover ... does it make any sense of not cooling car ?

Sadly - not available in Pakistan - we are still stuck in the "surf ka paani" way
Same is available by CRC brand. Costs around 900 rupees.

Have never tried any of these. One question here, is it necessary to remove the cabin / pollen filter before using this foam?

no dotn remove any filter etc. - you have to snake the wand/pipe into the evaporator box from somewhere (easiest is from the drain pipe when the car is up on a lift being worked on) and flood the box - this foam expands a lot - it will push itself into the evaporator
