Default Honda City full body paint!

Hello all, we bought a Honda City 2008 vario in black colour back in 2011.
The thing is that we didn't thoroughly checked the car for repaint etc as it was bought from someone we knew. Anyway, back in 2011 it was in almost new condition with around 12k Km on ODO. Now the main thing is that it was already painted from different sides from a cheap road side painter. The colour has different shades from different sides.
The front has faded, back has changed colour to grey, sides are getting dull and the paint has started to chip from different sides.
We showed it to a denter/painter and he said that the car has been already painted by an inexperience painter. The car now needs full paint job again. Car has also started to get rust from sides. The painter quoted us 35k and he would fully paint the car, remove rust, will do welding etc. Today showed it to another painter in Gizri, Karachi and he quoted us 60k, he said trunk and bumpers will be replaced and will give us 5 year warranty. Please now help me what should I do. From where should I get it painted? Please tell me a shop who is an expert and will do his job properly and it should not be possible to point out that whether it's painted or not.
    Thanks!

    IMO:

Option 1: Go to a Honda 3s and get it painted. It'll be hassle free, good quality but expensive.

Option 2: Find a good, skilful denter and painter and decide the labour charges, including bake paint booth. Buy and supply the paint, bases, etc yourself. Materials should cost about 20k and decent labour charges should be about 35-40k.

Thanks for your answer, but Honda guys are too damn expensive!
Option 2: That would be a good thing, but I don't know any good denter/painter, I've like shown this car to 4 painters and all of them are confusing me, someone is giving 5 years warranty, someone lifetime some one 3 years and all of them are saying you won't find the difference between the new one and this plus no one ever would be able to point out that the car is painted! :/

For a good Paint Job, at least would cost you around 55 - 65K for the whole car. Starting from Thinner to Hardener , all imported items.

Thanks, I already mentioned that in gizri a painter quoted me around 60k which includes full paint job of the car including new bumpers and a trunk! But I don't know whether to trust him or not!

I never said that I want to sell it or cheat someone.
The current situation of car is so bad that even a kid could point out that car is already repainted. I just meant that I want to know contact# or shop of a trusted denter/painter in Karachi who knows his job and would repaint it like a professional and the car should look like new and should be like 100 times better job than the current one. We have intention to keep this car like for 3 years more as it is used by driver to pick me/ my younger brother from school and mostly used by my elder brother.

not every one have same mentality bro, its very depressing when u c pathetic paint on body after spending a healthy amount

OP,, ahmadtariq gave u a nice advice,, it would be better if u take off the current paint and then go for repaint,, make sure to check ur car on daily basis during work

    Thank you sir!
Yes I'll do this as the current paint is chipping off from everywhere!
Do you know any good painter here in Karachi?
And I don't know why my posts are becoming visible after an hour! :/

Plus not everyone loves to cheat, tell lie and sell their car saying its genuine. Last year we sold the car and the trunk was repainted, we told the new owner that it was repainted.

A few detailed pictures of your cars highlighting what you are telling will greatly help others to give you good advice.

A denter recommended you trunk change, did you ask him the reason? Is the car hit from back or the trunk got many small dents?

If the car is original from roof n bonnet, I will advise you to get a trunk in black color from Shershah (I know the shade won't match) but still you will have a trunk with original paint in black color.

Then moving on to the sides, get the vehicle scrapped so that you can see bare metal...... as you said paint is chipping off, it might be due to use of low quality filler (polygate n laapi in local term).......get the bodywork completed first and with minimum use of fillers............. this needs to be done by a good denter who is regularly working on new cars.........

After you are done with body work completely only then move to painting process........ I will strongly recommend to not to get the roof painted if its already in original paint (you can get it wrapped in gloss black if you want a fresh look).......... then try to save the bonnet original color too....... Trunk will be painted from outside but it will be original from inside (as you purchased a black trunk )

Get the car bake painted from some good painter....... and this will not cost you less than 65k in any ways

    Thanks for your advise!
Will upload the pictures by tomorrow as car is with my brother.
For the trunk, all 3 denters said car has had a major crash from behind, the trunk is in bad shape, a lot of filling has been done on the trunk plus the trunk is not original, it was replaced.
As per the denters/painters, only roof is in original paint. Colour of bonet has faded and it's matt black now
I haven't purchased a trunk, will do it when we take the car for repair.
What is bake paint? And which one is better, bake paint or that manual one done by painters?
    Thanks!!

Many years ago I used to live in Karachi. One of the best places for a paint job was Yazdani motors on Korangi Road. I had three cars painted from there. My friend’s dad Nousher uncle is the owner. No complaints. Check them out. They are dedicated to a quality job.

Here are other Pakwheel members talking about them:

There is more; you can do a search yourself.

    Address is:
