Default Gradual customisation of my 2011 City + Headlights transformation

    <br>
The truely unique (ongoing) transformation of my 2011 CITY!

When i came to Pakistan after a long time my father bought me my first car here, a 2011 Honda CITY. And so, the love affair began.
I loved the car because of its wicked looks and style but slowly got bored of seeing it so stock because of SO many CITYs around! I just had to make mine different so it stood out from the others. This is where it all began.

I will be posting up pics to show what i did from the start and what it looked like at each stage.

What it looked like when i first bought it, pretty much stock + LED parking's, which was the first 'mod':

Gradual customisation of my 2011 City + Headlights transformation - 2vuara0
Gradual customisation of my 2011 City + Headlights transformation - 2dnrl1

After about a year of running more or less standard, i added some DRLs (this was at the end of 2012, before most in PK even knew what DRLs were (A short while before this i had installed some 6000k HIDs myself in the standard halogen reflector housing):

Result (not the best of pics, but yeah)

Next up: Angel Eye Bi-Xenon Projectors. When i went to the UK for a short break, all the cars there with HIDs had Projectors (uk road regulation). Coming back to my car with no projectors just desi HID bulbs in a halo-reflector, i felt really unprofessional with them so i got some big 3" Projectors (larger than the Accord's i think) imported from UK which my cousin brought over - this was a long day:

Gradual customisation of my 2011 City + Headlights transformation - 2wnbbkn
Gradual customisation of my 2011 City + Headlights transformation - 2qbhqiu

Next up: White/Amber headlight DRL/Signal LED 'mod'. (Feb '14). These lights are the unique parts of my car as no one in Pakistan has them and it is difficult to set-up. They have the dual functionality of working as plain white DRLs for aesthetics, and an Amber element for the indicator/signal function!:

Shoes. I've so badly wanted some nice wheels ever since i bought the car so i could replace those UGLY 'plates'. When i finally found something decent (and also had enough saved up from my allowance to even buy them) i swept them up without a second thought! They weren't in the best condition but i saw past that; i only had one image in mind of what i wanted them to ultimately look like. Alhamdulillah, they now do :

All finished! Such an outstanding, professional job - no small time painter could pull it off like this. Still missing some nice center caps which are on order...

They're now clothed with a fresh set of Dunlop SP Sport LeMans LM704, these tyres are still unavailable commonly in Pakistan.

As of now (date of thread creation), the car looks like this:

Next on the list is some bodykit, a lil spoiler and grille. (Followed by various others in the near future, if ALLAH wills)

Haha thanks. Keeping it looking elegant, classy and OEM was a requirement n my aim right from the start 

Yeah sure, projectors w/ angel eye halos were about ~16k all in, flashing signal DRL altogether ~6-7k, rest of the work + labour around ~3k

Oh cool. Near the stadium right?

Projectors i had fitted around start of the year. The flashing signal DRLs were installed before Ramadhan. A lot of planning, designing and trial and error went into them! Hence the lengthy delay in between

Good going build .... Try to give it a decent look instead of Ricer !
Add Modulo Kit ... Otherwise Face lift bumpers with a drop is the way to go !
Detailing a day,Keeps the swirls away

Hahaha yeah man i'll keep it classy In Sha Allah! What would u class as Ricer look?

I like Modulo. Where could i get my hands on some facelift bumpers? And how much would they cost u reckon?

Dropping is a big no-no where i live, which is Fsd, not Isb or Lhr

Nothing was bought locally, friend. All imported; projectors were imported and the components for the 'Flashing DRLs' were all sourced and imported from the UK as well.

Ricer is adding more than fancy lights here and there ,with stickers like ye sab mere maa baap ki dua hai

Facelift bumpers are with honda now ... But they must be note less than 50K to what i presume ...

Okay no drop but atleast add some nice kit or side panels atleast !

Oh right. Well that could be an issue then i think? Brand new Honda (my model) front bumper in primer costs 9k (minus paint n fitting) if my memory serves me. However I don't think Honda will sell you any part, they check out your car first and then give u it - so unless you have a facelift CITY they probably won't be giving you any bumpers for it. I'm not 100% certain on this but i think this was the case..

Oh yeah bro, don't worry about that - I really really badly want to get some body kit on it ASAP!

Hey everyone. I FINALLY found those lights I've wanted at a good price!! Here's the work:

    Lights bought
Gradual customisation of my 2011 City + Headlights transformation - 2i8zkau

Removal from a dirty CITY :p
Gradual customisation of my 2011 City + Headlights transformation - 143n6eu
    Out with the old!
Gradual customisation of my 2011 City + Headlights transformation - r0pl44

    Installation; not so straight forward!...
Gradual customisation of my 2011 City + Headlights transformation - 33cvew5

I've not had the time to take a good photo of them but i can tell you that they look amazing! I'll add a few snaps pronto!
The wiring wasn't so easy since these are LEDs and pull much less power. There's also the matter of deciding if the bottom orange lights are to be used with parking or simply as indicators. A mess about with the fusebox and some load-resistors later they were working fine (Y)
