    Unhappy Manufacturer Recommended Engine oil for Honda City 2007, 2008? Not best

    Dear All,

    I need to know recommendation of Honda for engine oil for IDSI 2008. i need to know only what manufacturer says. "what is the best oil" is not a question.

    I have seen 10w40 and 10w30 for sure

    What made you say Manufacturer Recommended Oil is not the best?

    Sir the manual of honda city recommends 5w-30 of SM or SL Grade.
    As the model is 2008 and must be driven over 100k, so it would be still better to feed it 5w-30 as per OEM recommendation. But if it reduces the engine oil, then better to feed it slightly thicker viscosity like 10w-30 or 10w-40
