My Honda civic 2014 came with Euro star tyres. On motor way from Lahore to Islamabad at 120 Km I felt noticeable vibration ans as the speed is dropped below 120 Km vibration fades out. Can you advise is it the Euro Star Tyre fault. Are they not made for high speed.

Thats not the fault of tyres infact the company forgot the wheel balancing..go above 120 and you will notice the vibration finishing

    Exchange with Continental 185/65 R15 Or 195/60 R15.

They are perfectly alright when fresh out of the factory. But after 20k Km on your odo, they will get hard. The ride will be noisy and uncomfortable. You will feel every single nook, cranny and rock while driving. Recently, I noticed that the ride was wobbly and jumpy. It wasn't the alignment. Turns out the tires have deshaped. I passed it as the bad road condition as the whole of islamabad has been dug out. Realized my mistake when took it to the motorway. Get them changed while they are still new and worth something. Don't make the same mistake I did.

My friend has a City i-VTEC model. He has changed his tires. The best option for this car would be 185/65 R15. 195/65 would be heavy and they may cost you your car's fuel economy. Even Honda Thailand goes for 185/60 R16, (185) being the maximum width the the side walls being a little bit less due to bigger rim size.

As for the brand, would recommend that you go with Yokohama DB or Yokohama Blue Earth. They both are really soft tires and thus having greater grip than the harder General tires that come stock. Also the noise is very less.
