Default Honda City most pathetic car of the century

I have been using honda city for the last 3 years and i can say it is the most pathetic car of the century. It has million of Problems.

    1. When i bought the car the car gave strange sound so i got it checked and they said they forgot to tighten some bolts during manufacturing thank god they were not tyre bolts.

    2. You cant get parts and they will keep asking u can come net year

    3. i have replaced the locks of the car at least thrice which cost appro 30,000/- each time u cant get in and they themselves accept its a manufacturing fault

    4. I had the car standing outside while it was drizzling along with my corolla. After the rain i checked both the cars the city was all dented and corolla was absolutely fine. They said when u bought city u should have ensured u have it covered all the time its ur mistake.

I guess the biggest blunder i made was buy a HONDA. I will upload image to show what i mean

Its not Honda but the manufacturing quality of Pakistani cars.this is why i will never buy a Pakistan manufactured car again IA.I have found it to be true that once a Japanese car, always a Japanese car.You will come across many many in the forum complianing about lightening , breaking etc etc of corolla as well and list goes on and on.Import a good grade JDM and have piece of mind

Sir, I also have used both Jdm. And local cars.. Recently sold my City 2009.. Coz i wasnt satisfied with its suspension and hard seats.. But u mentioned such issues with 3 years old car and i used 6 year old car but never found such issues. And please dont compare a Jdm with local manufactured car as u already have enjoyed that shahska "company waali khushboo" wch u may never feel in JDMs. I remember one of my friend preferred Gli over Axio, whn asked he said k Axio sai company waali khushboo nahi aati.. So what was the benchmark of ur decision? did u preffer khushboo over hail effect? And what about its consumption as almost 70% ppl preffer City over corolla for its fuel efficiency.

Some people (like me) might actually prefer the hard suspension. It allows you to take sharp turns at high speeds, say, the Islamabad exit from M1 at 70+ km/h.

    @ZainMahdi

    you are forgetting something.

the classification of a good car in Pakistan is that

1 - it should ride smoother than a citroen DS (no potholes should ever jar the car)
    2 - it should give 50 km/lit
3 - it should be repairable by footpath mechanic in 5 minutes and under Rs 10/-
4 - It should handle better than a McLaren F1 at speed
5 - It should have a JDM look to it.

you sir have broken rule no.1 - you are now being indicted for this wrongdoing - one slap on the wrist.

my second gen accord have pretty soft suspension but its not unstable at cornering on the other hand my friend city 2011 with much harder suspension became a bit unstable at cornering the stability on cornering depends upon the center of gravity of car the more dead weight on the car the more unstable it will get on corner

I too like the stiff suspension for the superior F-16 like agility. but the moment you come across a bumpy patch you feel like ditching the car. The number of times I have enjoyed the ride because of its sporty suspension was less than the number of times i have frowned over it for being too bumpy and uncomfortable. IMO there should be a balance between stiffness and softness. and the car that has a perfect suspension IMO is lancer.

itne sarei masle masail, Why are you still living with it !, BHEICH DE!

PS: Spending 30k on the locks, you could have simply spent a 2k on a keyless entry system

PS2 : Koi aur Honda ka janu manei ya na manei, all Hondas (atleast made in Pakistan) Have the driver window and button issue, and the locks since they redeigned their key to flat cut types
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

People buy cars in Pakistan for the Honda or Toyota badge, not for comfort.
