Default City Idsi AC not working

Yesterday going from Peshawar to Islamabad on M1 my City 2007 AC was working fine uptill Swabi interchange but then it stopped working. It started giving "hot Air" after switching it off for a few minutes it worked for five minutes then again nothing. We i reached Islamabad AC started working normal again and was normal on night return journey. The day temperature was 36-38 C. It seems to be the problem? Will it again give me problem on motorway in afternoon journey??

There is a filter, metallic type, filled with some desiccant or what around the condenser area.
You probably need to get it replaced, the AC compressor trips on high gas pressure due to blockage in its path.

You ll experience this problem even at islamabad during the day time, or at idling too.

If you re at islamabad and can spare an hour or two, please visit universal car AC at sector G8.
The guy "Abu Bakar" will solve your problem, charge you a reasonable amount. I can send you his number or you may search "best AC mechanic in rwp/isd"..
