I got a brand new honda city with just 1500km on its mileage. Today I couldn't stop my self from speeding up in my new city. But after that i got a little worried ,I was thinking that this might have caused some kind of damage to the engine or suspension or the car. Does speeding in the new car really damages it?

I think once you're done driving carefully the first 1000 km , you can push it a bit but of course it depends on how hard you pushed it . my city just completed 1000km today and alhamdulillah never pushed it over 100kmph or 3k rpm , even on motor way.

handle it like an extension of yourself .

In todays vehicles, nothing happens. These vehicles are prepared to be pushed to limits from day one. Speeding is no issue what so ever.
