Default Help honda city pick issue

Hey lately i have been having some problem with my honda city 2010 automatic

When the rpm is between 1-2 it feels like my car is not accelerating and i cnt get pick

Other day i parked my car in some plaza basement and it wasnt going up even when i shifted to lowest gear at one point it even stood still , then when i crossed 2 Rpm only then i was able to get pick and the car accelrated. The mileage is also not upto the mark.

And even on straight road this is the problem i have to face as soon as it crosses 2 rpm the car accelerates okay
Please suggest me what should i do?

    Default Can be multiple problems

    Dear friend,

I am not a regular forum participant but I do own a Honda City. I have been supervising car repair for many years. There can be several issues some of which that I can think of.

    1. Your car's throttle body is having some issue because of which you can accelerate your car beyond 1.5 to 2 rpm.
    2. Your car's air filter is literally chocked to such a extent that it is make life very hard for your car.
    3. Your car needs urgent tunning.

With all disclaimer and sincerity these are some of things that i can come up with. Just make sure to get multiple opinions from qualified mechanics before getting it repaired.

    Thanks,

    Hope it helps.

Check catalytic converter. Does it rev all the way up to redline in 1st gear?
