    Angry honda city i-Vtec

i have just bought a 2014 model honda city and the problem i am facing is that it is showing a fuel average of only 10km/l whereas most of the people i know who have honda city, there cars are offering something like 14-15km/l
what maybe the reason for lower fuel average of my car.
    kindly advise
