Default Honda city 2004 Decreasing Oil

    Aoa,
I have a 11years old Honda City 2004 idsi manual 324000 on the ODO. Running on its original engine. Which is never opened for overhauling. Just minor repairs and tunings were done with time. It is still working perfectly.
But im facing a small problem from the last 2 3 oil changes. Im using Zic A+ 4litres oil in it. But some months ago whenever the oil was freshly changed it remained okay. But as soon as it crossed 2000-2500kms it started to decrease. And till 3000kms it almost used to decreases to quarter marking on the guage (above half). My mechanic suggested me to get the oil changed to a bit thicker one and he suggested Total 3000 (20w50). After changing the oil to total 3000 it doesnt decrease oil, but i wanted to ask experts that is it okay for my car's engine?
Zic A+ when used was changed on time between 3000-3500kms
And now Total 3000 oil is being changed at 2000-2500kms as suggested by the oil changing person.
This car runs daily for about 100+ kms and its perfectly fine.
Kindly advise me what should i do or is my engine weak? But its not giving any smoke or what so ever.
    Please suggest something wise.
    Thanks

Honda City idsi 2004 1.3L MT and Toyota Corolla GLi 2013 1.6L A/T
    Thanks ALLAH..

Switch to 10w-40 oil. Go for a better quality liqui moly mose2 oil. I am not sure about the quality of ZIC now a days.
Speed costs money, how fast can you afford to go.
