Default City 2014 Brakes problem. Expert advice needed.

AoA, I have a 2014 city. When I brake hard the left front wheel sort of jams and the car veers to the left, also there is a sound from the left front wheel side. I took the car to a mechanic who removed the wheel and checked everything and did not find any discrepancies with the brakes. I suspect it has to do something with the ABS brakes but the mechanic did not have any idea.
P.S. Unfortunately I am currently positioned at a station where there is no Honda dealership for me to take my car there, please advise what to do. Thanks

Check all the brake calipers for seized components such as slider pins, cylinders and clips.

Check both of your car disks and callipers esspecially right side
Sometimes there is break oil leakage and Disks or pads of that side absorbs oil.
Due to this breaks of that side became unaffected and car skids to oppesite side.

Or if you change pads recently check them by putting left side brake pad on right side.
If the pads are the problem then the car start skidding towards the side with good pads

You must have to visit any honda dealership, or get your car scanned by a computer wala guy or drive safely to a nearby station where honda dealership is available. And to me, the problem seems in your ABS system, bcz ur car's wheel is getting locked due to which it skidds.
Check if the ABS warning light is lighted up in meter cluster ?

Thanks a lot to all of you for your help and advice. The calipers, pins, brake pads and the discs are all in perfectly good shape as the car is only 5000 kms driven.
If I can't go to the Honda dealership, is there something that my local mechanic can do to try and isolate the problem? Thanks

Are you sure it is not ABS sound? ABS makes a lot of noise when it tries to keep tires from locking up.
Almost everyone in Pakistan is doing corruption to the extent they can. Our leaders are doing at the level they can do. So why should we complain?

I am sure because I don't hear that sound until the wheel starts to slip up. If ABS is supposed to make that sound should I be hearing it on both wheels or just one of the wheels? Thanks for your help.

    Check tyre pressure
    Front 32
    Rear 30 psi
Also all tyres should be of same size

If your tyre is hard as plastic than abs won't help as tyre won't have grip on road and the reason you don't hear abs pump noise is becoz the abs left the wheel free

Get your ride calipers, rotors, braking lines. That could be the issue.
It could be the parts are not fitted properly!

Best way is to take it to the dealership where you have bought the car!
