Both are equally good. Drive of 1.5 is much better than 1.3

Performance of 1.5 is way better than 1.3, secondly if you want to have auto you must opt for 1.5 otherwise 1.3 AT would be underpower.

As per my little experience, a slightly bigger engine gives you long lasting performance.

I have a 2003 civic exi manual 216000 kms driven and Honda 3S maintained and she gives me 13km/l in city these days wo AC. On long routes she gives 17km/l on highway @100-110km/h wo AC and 15km/l with AC.

Whereas my father have got a 2012 Gli 1300cc only 10800 kms driven and I took her to Islamabad twice last month and she hardly did 14.5-15km/l @ 120km/h and rpms are 3.5.

If you have to drive frequently on highways and motorways 1.5 would be better otherwise you can opt for 1.3 MT.

1.5 AT is not a fuel saver also I am not looking for performance. I have been looking on some other threads here and I think 1.3 Aspire MT is a better option.

Just worried about noise level in cabin on high speed if it is quite or noisy but didnt find any satisfactory ans so far. (especially for 1.3MT)

1.5 and 1.3 AT both are not fuel saver. But 1.5 and 1.3 manual both have good average. Other than. 1.5 Manual is much better than 1.3 in terms of performance.

I have Honda 1.3 MT Aspire 2012. The cabin is not noisy till around 140. the car is stable till 170 anything beyond i dont recommend. its a high revving engine still it is very economical. In city drive from DHA to Islamabad Via murree road its consistently giving 16-16.25 km per liter (actual reading) which means i do 570-580 km in a tank. 1.5 is definitively nippier but at the end of the day that car too is not stable beyond 170. so its just that 1.5 gets to 170 quicker than 1.3 on maybe slightly lower rpm.
