    Default Engine oil

I have Honda City which I bought in 2015. It is only 10,000 km driven. My question is should I stick with honda's engine oil or should I switch to zic?

Honda engine oil is best no need of an experiment with zero meter car. Using honda engine oil in my city 06 and performance is excellent.

In fact, Honda is also buying the synthetic oil from Total Lubricants, But its better to stick to Original one...

I have driven 70K Kms with Synthetic one, Last 1000 km feels a little heavy on car engine by synethic but 4000 km is no problem for single batch of synthetic oil.

Honda guys recommend at every five thousand but I try to change earlier at 4k + but not more than 5k. They change oil filter at 10k mileage. Honda genuine oil is excellent and peace of mind that its not no2.

Do u use this 5w-30 grade in summer too?
in summer, temp goes to 45?C+.
so should we stick to this grade in summer too?
And I dont understand this honda manual. It has this range of ambient temp from -30 to 40?C and the grades from 0w-30 to 15w-40, all cross the limit of 40?C.
So I couldnt conclude that in summer with temp of 50 degrees, which grade to use in honda? And why does honda make only 5w-30 n 10w-30 grades only, when they also give option of 10w-40 n 15w-40 as well?
And one more question, is there any semi synthetic grade in honda engine oils?

It is more important to stick with correct viscosity oil per user manual of respective car than to stick with the Brand.
There is no need to stick with particular brand if you are not getting correct specifications in it as per Car's User Manual.
Match ambient temp and use its corresponding recommended viscosity.
