    Default Fuel Economy in city

Hi all, I own a city 2015. It gives me 17 km/l on long route without AC and 15 km/l with AC. Is it fine ?
Secondly it gives me low economy within the city. What can I do to improve economy within city ?
    Regards.

The economy that you are getting on long route, is it the one which is shown over the avg. meter or is it the avg. that you are calculating manually? Secondly for the city drive, just change the gears at 3k rpm and use a light foot while driving.

Almost every 1.3 or 1.5 will give u 17 on long route if you keep appropriate pressure on gas pedal.

With in city 11-12 average is what u will get. Nothing much u can do to improve it.

i get 12 on heavy foot (my father) and i manage 14-15 (Hypermilling) inside islamabad on 1.5 prosmatec and on long last weekend achieved 25.33km/L on long route (drove myself and hyper-milled to every extent) (GT ROAD).

keep the eco guage above 20 and see the car do wonders .

getting good average is no brainer, just be cautious about your foot movement.

    peace.

Eco Guage = You will see a little bar on speedo cluster which ranges between 0 to 40.

start moving the car gently and keep your eye on that guage, try to keep it above 20.

    hyper-milling = google it

Here you go, straight from the horse's mouth i.e. the guy who coined the word hypermiling.
_ 22 km/l from '03 VTi automatic, with plenty of room for improvement
