Default Honda city idsi 2004 Eating up mobil oil

    Aoa guys,
    I have a honda city 2004 idsi M/T 333500 on the ODO.
Its engine was never opened never repaired. It is with me from day one.
The problem im facing us that i was using Zic A+ oil in it till 300,000kms which used to be changed at 3500kms. But after that it started reducing oil whenever it was driven for about 3000kms. So i changed my oil to Caltex havoline motor oil 20w-50 which was changed at 3000kms.
For sometime the problem just vanished but now again it is reducing oil. Like whenever it is driven for about 2000kms almost 0.75-1litre oil is reduced.
There is no black smoke nor the car feels that its engine is weak. (But yes the silencer tip is blackish from inside)

Kindly suggest me what to do? Is my engine life is almost end? Or is it any other thing?
Someone suggested me to replacing the pcv valve can also fix this problem. Im confused. Please guide me properly.

Thanks alot. Have a nice day!

    Thanks ALLAH..

well i never bothered to trace pcv in my car.it has to be under the decorative cover over the tappet cover area...follow the pipe coming out of it
20 50 oil is ok for cars burning oil.its thick n would reduce oil burn/reduction to some extent

    @nazimsandhu
Brother im already thinking to replace the engine. But there are some points which are not clear.
    1. If i change it with a kabli engine will i get the same L12a engine?
    2. What if i change it with a L13A or 1.5L engine? Do i have to change my ecu and wiring? My car is manual will auto trany engine fit on my manual car?
    3. If i change it with L13a or 1.5L vtec engine will it decrease the value of my car if i sell it?

    Kindly guide me

@Huazifa brother i did change pcv valve. But somehow the problem decreased but it was still eating oil. So i changed my car with an L15A (1496cc) iDsi engine. And boom. Its a beast now.

That's a very good price. Looks like IDSI Engines have become cheap.
