Default Honda City 2016 Acceleration Problem!

I bought a brand new Honda City 2016 MT 1.3 a month back.

I am facing some issues with the acceleration of the car. It gives a slow response when I start touching the pedal and I have to push the pedal little more harder.

Sometimes it gives a sound of grr grrr grrr at the time reversing, any clue guys...please help me out this problem which makes me really uncomfortable?

    Looking forward.

Remove floor matts from driver side and check. Secondly its DBW technology. So a slight delay can be felt in comparison to old cable race padel.

Has the car always been like this or it recently started doing it?

If it has always been like this then i think you just need to get used to it. Usually Honda 1.3 has a slow/sluggish response in 2nd gear if you change gear before 20 kmph. Either way, take it back to Honda and tell them how you feel. If they tell you to put Hi-Octane - don't fall for that BS.
