Default RPM drop problem City 2015

So my car is driven just 15000 km. And recently after the 5000km oil and air filter change and 1000 Rs service inspection. I am experiencing problem with RPM drop when I break, with AC. The RPM drop as much as 400 but instantly climbs up when accelerated. Please note that when i got the service done from Dealership the guy also cleaned my break pads. Is it the problem due to the break vacuum?

P.S this is my first post

My City does a similar thing only with the A/C on. Never stalled so I'm not worried

I don't think that is a normal thing. You should be worried too. The problem gets intense when you are in traffic with continuous breaking.

This weekend I went to Honda service center and they said this problem is due to bad petrol in the country. Which I doubt. They asked me to add hi octane petrol and the problem will be fixed. I haven't added hi octane till now. Should I would it be ok for a new car?

lol. Honda's one solution to the worlds problems, use Hi Octane! Don't bother with that, your car is new and doesn't need any special treatment.

My City 2011 also drops the RPM when I brake with AC on. It only does that when the FAN is on. Have you noticed if it only does that during really hot days and when the car has been driven for a long time (all day maybe). The RPM acts normal if the fan is off. Try noticing that and don't waste your money with any more HONDA visits.

No not with long day drives, it is most noticeable in 1st gear in traffic jams.

That's normal. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I own a Honda city 2014 and had a similar problem around 15000 km. Problem is that Honda has a very sensitive fuel injection system and gets clogged very easily and quite frequently. All Honda dealerships will initially deny that your car is stalling or giving low mileage. Now the solution........ Add stp fuel injector cleaner in a full tank after every 3000-4000 km. But this is a short term solution. For longer solution, if you are able to convince your Honda dealership that your car stalls, they will ask you to get throttle body cleaned. This would cost around Rs. 1500/- but this would be a waste of money. Instead ask them you service your fuel injectors along with throttle body. This would cost your around Rs. 5000/-. This would solve your problem and you would be good to go for another 15000-20000 km. Hope this would be of some benefit to the readers.
