Default Problem regarding headlights after HID installation.

    Assalamualaikum Everyone,

Hope all of you are doing good. I recently got 75 watt HIDs installed in my 13' City in the high beam. I've adjusted the beams myself so it causes minimum discomfort to other drivers, but the problem is that the low beam (Yellow light) has completely fallen. I'm almost unable to drive with the low beam since it falls very near to the car and is very distorted as well. Someone asked me to get a 100 watt bulb installed in the low beam for better visibility but the guys at Honda said it might fry the wiring. I know there's no way to adjust high and low individually in City, but I need advice on how to have atleast some better visibility when I drive at low beam, which is often as I don't want to blind anyone else.

    Regards,
    Saad Arshad.

i never advise anyone to get hid in high beam
HID takes time to light up. So technically living in pakistan, you cannot give "dipper" to the people driving at 60km/hr in fast lane of the highway

put the HID in low beam
    re adjust
Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

CITY has H4 type of Bulb.. Which is double point which has both High and low..

Other problem with hid is it takes 3 seconds to fully light up at full intensity so which makes it totally useless..

    You have 2 options
1 Forget you have Low beam since you adjusted it too low and your high beam seems to work as LOW beam.
2 Install HID which is Double point(low high both HID)
    RIP

Altogether remove the hid light. Use some good quality bulbs like philips xtreme vision or osram night breakers. Others are available too. OR if budget allows a projector retrofit.

These bulbs are too good. Use them and chuck those HIDs out of the window.

H4 hid with halogen in low and HID in high are pathetic. The low light bulbs are smaller then fog lamp bulbs, One simply cannot drive relying on those miniature bulbs.

if you really want HIDS try finding OEM HID headlights if available from scrap.

PS: Adjusting the level of your cars headlights was not a good idea IMO
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.
