Default Thinking about buying honda city .should i go for it?

After learning from my friend who works in ministry of finance that suzuki might be winding up its business soon in pakistan and leaving for iran .i have decided against buying a suzuki swift and faw v2 is just an ugly car according to my standards .so i am thinking about adding a bit more money and buying city aspire .can you people tell me if manual will be good or prosmatec automatic transmission will be a good choice ? What is failure rate of prosmatec and will 1300 cc or 1500 cc have huge performance difference ? Also i had in previous city models cars used to get bumped on lower part of roads especially speed breakers .have they fixed that problem ? If so, then to which extent ? Thank you for your time answering my question

Suzuki wont wind up its ops here, "tari laga rahe hain " so govt wouldn't let Nissan or VW come here, if you want economy, go for manual 1.3, if auto and economy is a must but power can be ignored a little, go for 1.3 A/T, if you want the complete package 1.5 A/T, id personally suggest a 1.3 M/T or a 1.5 A/T, not a 1.3 A/T, just a personal preference

1.5 a/t has same or better mileage compared to 1.3 a/t as 1.3 a/t is under-powered and hesitates a lot during initial acceleration.

We can observe a difference when hypermiling i noticed the same thing in my Altis, this 1.6 1ZR has a better economy at motorway speeds than my 1.3 1NZ did

Yes they will not introduce new models, that much I can expect but they wont leave, at least not yet. I think what has them worried is their future after Mehran. The traits that made Mehran what it was may not be possible to carry out now. Crappy quality at a cheap price. They may not introduce Celerio but who cares, I would frankly have the new Sandero or Polo than a Suzuki

I would suggest for 1.5 M/T, it will give you as good mileage as 1.3 with power and add ons, and price is also just 1.5 Lacs more than 1.3 M/T. As for 1.5 A/T , it will have higher fuel consumption and its cost will go up quite a lot, it is better to buy a used civic A/T in that price instead.

Not a honda city user...but I think u first need to decide whether u want M/T or A/T...if M/T, then nothing beats 1.3 (non aspire)...very marketable (just like corolla)...in case u want A/T then I think 1.5(Aspire) is the way to go as I've heard a lot of ppl say that A/T is a bit underpowered...so it is better to have a little more engine power to overcome that issue...FYI diff btw Aspire 1.3(A/T) & Aspire 1.5 (A/T) is just Rs. 20,000/-
