    Default Engine oil

    I have city 2015.i got it inspected and first engine oil changed from honda drive in at 3500 km.now its 6600 km driven.now iam far away from any honda service centre.i need to know that can i use oil and filter other than honda.if yes,which is better oil.whether it will affect warranty or not?

    1) oil filter always use from honda as this the only best filter u can find in local market.
    2) engine oil u can use of any company which is of recommended grade by manufacture of yr ride.
    shell/valvoline etc any good brand which suits yr budget. unnecessary use of very expensive oil in yr ride
    will be the waste of money.
    3) no it will not affect the warranty.

    OEM is safe. Next is to do oil change from a company operated pump. Put best quality oil and best quality filter. Or preferably from a pump from which somebody known to you has some experience.

    But never buy oil and filter from bazaar. Chances are you will get no. 2 and it will ruin your engine.
