    Default 1.3 auto prosmt has strange acceleration0....solved

    yesterday i went out on montorway to test one city 2015 1.3 at prosmatec, coz
    many people here call it sluggish, used high octane,

    i noticed initially that when you press accelerater , it behaves like sluggish but actually it is not,
    i noticed if you want to get high rpm and good kick off, all you need is to press hard, rather than gentle light foot, when you fully press the pedal, rpm reaches to 4K immediatly and car runs perfectly,

    by moving to d3 mode, rpm immediatly moves to 5k and higher...

    so i think this is the way city works, its not sluggish but it is deliberatly designed to work in this way, which looks like bad...

    any reviews...

    No reviews. We did advise you against that car but now that you have bought it, please share a picture of the fuel average with hi-octane and your hard foot.

    City changes gears too quickly, Plus driving a toyota the gear change jerks are very much fealable. Which ruins the driving pleasure.

    Other than that City is a decent car do drive from point a to point b
    Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

    i have not bought it, i did a test drive, this car is within my family, but i was not happy with the drive

    i took it on motorway and experienced everything and i came to know that i has good power, its all silly designing of honda engineers the way it reacts to pedal, when you fully press the pedal, rpm immedeatly reaches to 4k and remains there, moves towards 5k
    when you use d3, rpm immediatly moves to 5k and goes above,

    this is the way to drvie auto 1.3 city, dont expect power on light foot, you will have to press hard to move the rpm and power...

    i used this scheme, total fuel spent was 500 rs, the drive was satellite town rawalpindi to barahma jhang bahtar motorway through kashmir high, complete return with ac and 4 passengers

    this car had excellent power on uphill areas, but again not with light foot, you have to press hard...

    Remember its engine is i-vtec and when that kicks in usually at 4000 rpm you feel the boost, as timing ratio is changed from fuel conservation mode to high speed mode.
