    Default HONDA CITY piece of junk

    any 1 comparing city with corolla is stupid

    my neighbour bought a city2003 model when i had a test drive of tht car i was shocked so any honda city user or lover ca tell me where the helll is the temp guage situated or fitted bcoz when i loked at the switch board there was just only petrol guage , speedo meter n rpmz .
    secondly in the honda web it iz written tht there iz a glove box below the rear seats but when i loked there i was astonished tht there was nothn accept the rod of the rear seats fited like tht ki our local motor garage wale ustad ji ne fit kia hai
    also the pic of tht car was khatam brakes were also a master piece when i kicked the paddle n tyrez were also uder sized i dont know how people drive city on cng very happily n comfortly
    as i was driving on petrol n when i switched the ac on the car starte making horrible noises n started acting like a gadha garee
    so bro post ur comment as any one have experienced such things
    its my way or highway

    hello!
    one thing interesting in City.......on stock you can drift with some counter steers .....!
    its skids like anything on stock tyres.....! a bit high speed ,a turn and here it skids.....!
    b/w earlier models are much better than nowones....!
    HONDA gradually decreases its quality after lowering down the prices......!
    better go for some low milage JDM...!

    Slightly off topic but : Why people grow beard only in Ramzan and why not continue. Is'nt it bad that you shave the beard after having grown one on religious lines. Not speaking about beard grown for syle and fashion.
    Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

    @ in the honda web it iz written tht there iz a glove box below the rear seats .... so there is a glove box in the ug model... secondly if ur talking about the '03 model then honda ppl never mentioned about the glove box back then

    @brakes were also a master piece... are u talking about the famous corolla brakes here??

    @tyrez were also uder sized... doesnt the xli come with the same tyre specs???

    so whats ur opinion now???

    @1600 kms
    i think the owner was afraid to drive his city without a temperature gauge :p

    @autophile
    people keep beard in Ramadan may be because the SAWAB in this month is 70 times as compared to other months.

    you can observe more NAMAZI in masjid then in any other month.

    masjid ke imam hamesha khutba main kehte hai ke logo ka namaz parhne ka josh o kharosh sirf ramadan main kyu hota hai.

    yeh bohat achi baat hai ke kam az kam log is maheene main Islam par amal karne ki koshish karte hai aur isi month main unke baaki dino ki training hoti hai.

    thanks
    Thanks to ALLAH for everything | Love what you have!

    @ammarmalick

    U r simply BUSTED.

    Honda CITY is a very good car. Most comfortable in its class.

    Compare to COROLLA it has got IDSI engine whereas COROLLA XLi,GLi has got normal EFi engine.

    City better in all aspects from COROLLA.

    Just consider 1.5 CITY STEERMATIC VS 1.8 Corolla VVTi.

    U will end up that CITY is better.

    @nabs
    Well so is the case with the new BMW 328i in many parts of the world,,I dont know mate but still this new model has been the exhighest selling one in the history of cars ,,,, especially in the year it was launched,, but on the other hand ,,, the new civic was 2006's top gear car of the year and it beats corolla in every aspect for the first time in history (except the price).....

    i drive 80 kilometes daily on average ...

    ne way..

    city is not at all a bad car in the market... its much much better in the corolla xli/gli..it just looks smaler...but it is more spacious than the corolla in every aspect...yeah the "under the hood space is less.."

    the temperature thing is just a new way of doing things.. and i havent so far heard of a single city overheated... and the japanese had their reasons for doing so... and its a perfectly done job...

    i tell it again n again... even my car .. 1993 peugoet 205 1800 cc diesel ..has no temperature guage... and it never overheated... and trust me I dont drive it softly...
    so just open your mind.. and see things differntly..

    as far as the drive is concerned.the drive of the city is pretty good.. the handling gets better when you switch to 14 " with 185/65R14

    city is not a piece of junk by ne means in the pakistani locallyu assembled category...
    Do the environment a favour, Use less airconditioning .. and please walk to the shop to get a pack of cigarretes..its only a 3 min walk..

    I am driving City 2006 for the last 7 months and have done 9000+ kms. I have found it to be very stable and comfortable to drive. Handling is good and so is the consumption. No problem in pick ( Its not s sports car) and AC is also good. However you do feel a little jerk /loss of power at slow speeds when ac is turned on.
