    Default 2006 city idsi a/c problem

    aoa
    from last couple of days mu city 2006 ac is giving problem.
    ac works fine in 36-38c temp. after 40 to 50 min drive if i shut off the car and start it ac clutch donot engage check voltage on compressor wire its 12v.
    now if i let down car to cool for hour or more a/c works again.
    2nd if clutch don't engage i run car for 4km and then turn on ac it work again.
    go to mechanic he said change compressor , refill some gas from other still problem is there

    probably clutch coil needs replacement
    Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

    it depends on ur technician skills......it can be done without opening compressor but requires special tools.

    should b done without wasting the gas

    today got magnet change with compressor intact no evacuation of gas thanks to allah cost 1500/=rs. but magnet is used one donot check car now with long duration.
    one thing which i am concerned that when ever clutch engage a spark produce from pulley site mechanic says its ok2006 city idsi ac problem -1694453

    How is your car performing after clutch coil replacement? I'm having sort of a similar problem.
