    Default Tyres for city 2016

Any realiable dealer of continental tyres in twin cities?
Read in a certain blog that continental is very good for city 185/70R/15. OR suggest me a good brand in this specification.. residing in g13, roads are torn apart from every where. Use kashmir highway as major road. So two opposite scenario is faced by me... bumpy road and smooth road.

Advan Db is too soft but super quite on metalled roads but on bumpy roads is not that good and is liable to frequent cracks. Changed mine Db after 1 year for Cdrive on city aspire and happy with it. More traction, Sturdier tyre wall and more grip.

    Default Tyres for city 2016

Go for Yokohama Advan DB 185/65/15. I am already using in my city 2015 and no issues.

C drive 185/65/15. Will give you ample clearance with good roadgrip whilst keeping within the 3% differential value. Value above 3 will affect the car's suspension hence avoid 195/65/15 at all cost. 195/60/15, on the other hand, has a differential value of under 2 and will give you good traction on paved roads but the ride will be bumpy on dilapidated roads. In my view, the 185/65/15 is the ideal choice for your City.

As for ur concern abt fuel consumption. Both Advan Db and C drive will effect it if u increase ur tyre size. From ur stock size 175-65-15. Because both are sport category tyres. If Yokohama go for bluearth series Ae50 or ECOS both are fuel efficent and noiseless tyres and they are touring tyres. Both are soft and Both have treadwear factor low as compared to Advan n C drive. So longer lifetime.

Go for Michelin XM2 185/65/R15. Yokos are too soft.
