Default Is there a need to change stock tyres of new honda city?

I ll be getting my new city on Saturday. Stock tyres are euro 175/85/R15. Someone said to change its tyre and get 195/65/R15 to get better grip and comfort.
So should I change or it is just wastage of money? Also I travel on highways and northern areas in summers and winters etc but normally drive in Lahore.

Yeah, go for 195/65/r15 as otherwise your car will be scrapping a lot of speedbreakers.

185/65/15 is more preferable. 195 deviates too much from the stock size. And yes getting better tyres can improve the ride significantly.

195 would improve the road grip & comfort of your ride and City comes with Euro Star as stock Tyres , u better switch to Yokohama (ADVAN-Blue Earth)or Continental

Driving with Stock general tires is no fun therefore i changed to Yokohama Blue earth (185/65) in my 2015 city.
drove 20,000 km and mostly on long routes (Naran,Babusar,Murree,Nathia Gali) only few punctures in 1.5 years time.

195/65 is not recommended size for city as error ratio exceed 3%

195/60 (Best size) availability could be issue
185/65 (reasonable Size) (Yokohama Advan DB and Blue earth) best choice.

Remember: After filling Nitro drive is more fun

Yes it gets disturbed the reading. The speedo shows diff value w.r.t real speed value.
Since area of contact with the road increases when changing to 195 the fuel economy gets decreased as well.

Seems a myth, the only logical explanation would be that due to wider tyres the ecu manages the "Extra Load" by pulling the car to a bit higher rpm to manage same acceleration. Google what "Load" is in terms of ecu and you'll get it. It is similar to the fuel economy loss on manual vehicles with wider tyres, nothing to worry about.

i have changed mine to 185/65, the result is better grip and better ground clearnace considering paki roads. stock tyres are just rubbish, also they are hard for ride. i have opted for extreme touring tyres they are soft .

Dont buy them. They are snow tyres have high tread but they arent made for Pakistani weather. They will be hell noisy in summers. And they wont provide u the comfort u want want in ur car. They are made to provide good grip in snow.
