Default Need Guidance for my Next car

    Dear all Pakwheelers,
I need some expert opinion from your guys for my next vehicle preferably sedan (I just sold my Suzuki alto JDM 2007).
I have budget of 1 million (1.1 million max). Please suggest some good options.

    Following are my preferences:
    - Manual Transmission
    - Good Fuel Avg
    - Resale Value

Following are the options which I am considering,
    - Honda City 2009
    - Honda Civic 2006

Note: Is it good to get new city on installment of 2 years plan? What are possible drawbacks?

Your help will be really appreciated.
    Thanks.

Better to buy a new honda city as it would not need regular rounds to the mechanics and will be a newer car. Go for newhonda city and piece of mind

Honda civic 2006 would be a money pit, either the 7th gen or the 8 th gen, you would be easily spending 1lac on both cars to make them run smoothly and sort out all the problems. As they both would be 10 yeara old and alot of part would have completed their life, soon after buying u would be getting a engine change in worst cases

Thanks for advice, I am definitely going for city either 2009 or new on installment. Can you please tell me how much a good condition city 2009/10 should cost?

What about Passo? I was recently reviewing one thread (https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/pas...e-passo-2012-a) by @DrUsmanNawaz and it seems good car.

older models wont give you any good, but overall resale is not that bad for city and civic, most people prefer city due to fuel avg,

i would suggest you to go for vitz, passo etc. you will get everything in 1 package. amazing drive, fuel consumption awesome and that too with auto gear.

paki assmbled cars are just for satisfaction, they do not give any thing

regarding installment, from islamic point of view that is not lawfull in my opinion, others may differ

    thanks

Depends, if you can manage the monthly installments and its not a burden on the pocket. Its not about preference in this case, its more about how far you are willing to stretch your budget.

    I don't think you'll find a good condition City '09 in 10, and I wouldn't recommend eagle eye Civic.
