    Default help needed honda city 2016

    AoA friends sadly saying i just bought new honda city basic model in Aug 2016. Unfortunatly today my younger brother wanted to park the car in jinah super area nd its slightly scratched with the footpath. My car is insured but i know Honda guys want to make money they will ask to paint the door or etc as it was happend with my friend.. what should i do now. I am confuse the scratch is not big but although its new car so i am bit worried i am posting the picture also.. experts please suggest anything good in this issue..

    scratch picture ? will help us more to suggest you.

    If its a light scratch get it rubbed from the local specialist, but if it is visible from 10 feets might need to repaint the whole door, remember new cars getting repaint for these small dings no problem white covers it very well.

    I concernd with 2 local painters in evening they said that scratch is not big so better u paint it with KALAM (brush) usually the painter use for small spots or scratches..

    Now coming to the scratch, get the door "qalum" from a professional car painter with exact colour code of this TIFTA WHITE I think the painters at dealership can do this, and for the footboard get it dented to remove the dings.

    First of all, its Taffeta white and 2ndly do not , i repeat do not get the whole door painted for this puny scratch. Just get the qalam and u wnt even ntice it again. Bol

    And, it looks like the colour is intact . Get it compounded before applying the qalam

    Use simple compound to remove it without paint and if some part is still visible use paint kalam .... it will be vanished

    Brothers thanks for the reply. i wanted to know ur asking to compound complete car or just that part. if you are saying about fully compound is it good i mean i read the thread mostly people saying to avoid local compound polish as it will Hurts the paint layer..

    Just the affected part mate. No one here asked you to compound the whole car

    I lodged the claim in efu insurance nd visited to honda avenue the experts ask me to get Qalam on door scratch nd for footboard its better to repaint (the foot board only) as there is a minor dent which can b visible after qalam so its batter to repaint the foot board.. they are taking for 4days to done the paint nd denting work on footboard.
