Default Appropriate engine oil for Honda City 2015

I bought my new Honda City in Sep 2015. My monthly running is 800 kms. I have gone for engine oil change twice so far after 2500 kms and 6500 kms. The engine oil used was Original Honda oil 10W-30. Now I am going for oil change again and this time I intend to buy 5W-30 SN Fully Synthetic. Kindly suggest is it ok to make this change or this change might have an adverse effect? And also what should be the frequency of oil change in terms of kms in case of fully synthetic oil? Since my running is very low, would it be fine to change oil after 6 months instead of 3? Regards.

Which is a higher viscosity than recommended for this car thus will result in better shear protection in startup but bad fuel economy vs the oil you are using right now. Plus I'd love to see you prove that Aisin is imported through official means and if not then it's simply what is referred to as fake oil, trust nothing in the oil world in Pakistan. I would instead go and buy the ENEOS Sustina Fully Synthetic 5w30 from a Attock company operated pump. Which is good for shearing protection on cold starts and also fuel economy and above all exactly the kind of grade suited to this guy's engine.

Opt for genuine Honda oil 5W 30 from Honda dealership; Will cost you Rs.2400 for 3.7 liters. It's the same oil as the Total Quartz 9000. I've been using Honda oil from day one, not that there aren't better alternatives available, but for convenience of availability and genuineness. If you can get a hand on a genuine Mobil 1 Synthetic oil, then there's nothing like it. Otherwise stick to Honda oil. And, no, there won't be any adverse effect on your engine from switching from mineral to synthetic oil. It is a myth. Enjoy your City!

Thanks dear aviotrox for a very good suggestion. I am going for genuine honda oil 5w-30 but here at Rahimyar Khan 3s dealership and 2s service centre at Bahawalpur and Rahimyar Khan 5w-30 is being sold for Rs. 3000/- and 10w-30 for Rs. 2450/-. I hope these rates are everywhere the same. Kindly confirm. If you have bought 5w-30 from any honda dealership for Rs 2400/- kindly send me a scanned copy at zachandio@msn.com so that I may raise the issue. Regards.
