Default *NEW* Pakistan’s First Car: The Sitara City Cart

The Sitara City Cart, Pakistan’s first car to be designed and built in-country, is as basic as transportation can get. With a 170cc motor, the Cart may appear little more than a golf cart with bicycle wheels, but it can carry up to four people in relative luxury (that is, relative to hoofing it). The only options offerred on the Rs. 126,000 ($2,200) Cart are a canvas roof and a wooden shift knob, but it comes equipped with safety belts and a roll bar, and can be configured without a rear seat for carrying more stuff than people.

A Rikshaw seems to be a better option than this thing... Motorcycle seems to be a much Respectable vehicle to ride than this 1 .... unbelievable stuff... i assure u people would buy a rikshaw instead of this ... and for RS.1,26,000. for this much amount 1 can buy a repainted mehran .... well u people havent spent much money and effort on it ... so dont be sad because its not worth buying ... and mind it these r only my views. I have attached the pic of this thing ... unbelivable.

well i would say it is newer version of MOtorcycle Rikshaw . you people may have seen it . A chingchee. it can not comptete mehran and even Revo . in our dusty roads one can imagine how passenger will look like after 2 miles.. I think our road engineers will modify it further and put some extra four seats and a roof.
Best of luck to comapany for future product .

Ha Ha Ha.. Please tell me its a joke yaar.

Achaa, seriously, It will be perfect as a Golf Cart. They have it here in US, on long golf courses, look exactly the same. They should export it to US to be used as golf carts and earn valuable foreign exchange. I think average golf cart here costs, anywhere between $2,000-$4,000

This is not a CAR. But a perfect golf cart.

I have to admit their have spent more time designing their web-site then putting any effort in designing the golf cart.

I think Adam Motors should learn to make the website from Them...

Best website of any Pakistani Auto Assembler, Maker..

This new Pakistani Rickshaw can zip to around 60 km/h. Thats very decent compared to current Raja motors Vespa Rickshay, I think that goes upto 30-40 km/hr, I am guessing from their slow speed. Those blue rickshaws need to go, those are noisy, filthy and an eye sore. This sitara is perfect rickshaw for Pakistan, I wonder if they can run it on CNG. Its not a bad idea to invest in few dozen of these rickshaws, hire some local guys, and make a business, not kidding. Make a good return, it should pay itself off in a year, rest is profit.
