I have late 2006 honda city, its steering wheel efficiency is not like other city cars, honda company does not agree with me and their engineers give the theory that its electronic steering and its efficiency increses with the speed of the engine, can any one tell me what to do with this, sometime i have to pull my steering back to zero after the turn.
Staff at Honda City sales is useless. These guys are earning so very much that they don’t care about their customers. They are not very professional. Sometime they are absolutely fail to diagnose the issue. These guys have monopoly in the market because one of the only two 3S dealers in Lahore. Your car is under warranty. Talk to the workshop manager (Jawad) or the guy deals warranty (Imran). Tell them if this is dam too difficult for you to understand the problem then refer the case to Honda company. Honda is used to send their ‘so called’ Engineers to dealer to check/diagnose the issues.
EPS Honda city tighter and not returning to the centre after turn
Hi Engineers, I saw your post in 2006. I am having exactly the same problem in my Honda city zx gxi model. The EPS is slightly harder than other cars and it is not returning automatically to the centre after turning. There is some noises near wheels when i turn the steering to the extreme ends when the car is not moving with engine idling. How could you solve your problem in 2006.
