CNG messes up the CVT transmission. Therefore never buy Vario (IDSI) or Steermatic with CNG. Steermatic does 12 KMPL in city driving with AC and on highway it does 14+ KMPL depending on the speed it is driven.

For a 1.5 litre car that is a pretty good average!

Hi Guys, I have 2007 Steermatic Petrol. I am having little problem with it now. Fuel consumption isn't as good as it was before, when I drove over 110km i feel like I don't have any control over it and before i used to drive over 150km - 180km and i never felt that. I had my car checked up from different workshops, different car alignment workshops but literally no body has any clue about it. I regularly change the Oil on 3000km-3500km I change the plugs on time, I keep my car under check all the time. Pick isn't quick as it was before either. I had Genuine alloy rims before and I think since I've changed tyre and alloy rim, may be this is the reason for all this but I am not sure about it. Now I have Nexen 195/60/15 and non Genuine alloy rims. Picture is attached for reference, could any body please help me as I want it to be like the same as it was before.

if you still have the stock alloys then instal them again and drive. Perhaps it will help. Have you had the throttle assembley serviced, changed plugs, air cleaner and fuel filter?

    rims is not the problem.
i would suggest u to visit hond pit shop.
    and tell them the problem.
and when did u got ur injectors and throttel body cleaned and maybe tha fuel and air is not mixing in proper ratio, check ur airfilter box and make sure its closed properly and its ventilator in not blocked with some paper or shopping bag.
and whats the mileage of ur car?

Anis Bhai and Aamir Bhai, I have a question and need your expert opinion on how to handle this. Thing is that during driving and specially while turning steering the 7 Speed Mode randomly turns On & Off... It doesn't happen very frequently but I dont want this to happen at all
.. I went to Honda Fort 3S and got this checked by connecting the computer and everything was perfectly fine but for the sake of it I had the CPU reset to default settings but still the problem is there.. What do you guys suggest?

Salman bhai, in addition to the expert suggestion of aamir bhai, Pl also get your car's clockspring checked. The issue you posted seems to be caused by a loose connection or something.

Thanks to both of you for the advice and thats what my initial thought was.. But i tried the solution proposed by Aamir Bhai on the way back from office i.e. Removed the Horn Relay and Fuse from the Fuse Box Under the hood and inserted them again after cleaning and this seems to work fine now ... I drove all the way back to home with 7-Speed mode on and it didn't turn off once..

Aamir Bhai you are great.. I didn't think the solution was so simple.. But I will double check again tomorrow and only then we can close this for good ...I so don't want to get the steering opened for this
