    Default 50555

Black Jack Completed 50555 KMs on way to office today.. But the Other news is not that good. I started encountering the same issue of 7-Speed Mode fluctuation again while turning the steering .. What to do now? Should I get the Cable Reel and the connectors checked and reconnected?

Aamir Bhai, Anyone you know who specializes in this kind of task for Steermatic?

    Salam All,

I really miss this thread but my busy schedule just doesn't allow me to be here often.

I am planning to sell my steermatic in January first week. If anyone is interested do let me know.

It has completed 65K km so far and it never had CNG. Honda maintained, log book available. don't have fresh pics but will post inshaALLAH. for the time being, pls check out my earlier post with pics at post # 356. Car is in same condition as in this old post, alhamdulillah no accidents ever. Drives just as good. giving an average of 13-14km local without AC.

It was time to spend some money on my Steermatic.. When I bought it 18 Months ago I got it mechanically checked and tuned (40000 KM Package from Honda Fort, Lahore) but couple of Cosmetic Items were missed... Roof Top Antenna in the pillar was broken and the Back View Mirror had rust in it and it was continuing to grow and making the visibility poor and also it was loose... I Bought these 2 genuine parts from Honda Sagoi, Montegomery Road yesterday..Antenna for PKR 1900 and Back View Mirror for PKR 1650..

Also got the Engine Oil + Air Filter + Oil Filter replaced.. Genuine Honda Of Course... Now I have got peace of mind .. The Only thing remaining is the slight fluctuation of 7-Speed Mode, which I am going to put on hold for now as it is not that much of an issue...

    Here the complete Bill:

    Roof Top Antenna : 1900
    Back-View Mirror: 1650
Honda Fully Sunthectic Engine Oil 5W/30: 2200
    Honga Genuine Air Filter: 1150
    Honda Genuine Oil Filter: 1100
    Total: PKR 8000

It was leased from bank and was with my brother initially later I got it from him. on completion of installments it was transfered from Banks name to my name so on papers I am the 1st owner.

It is 2007, nearing 65K km mark on ODO, 90% of that driven in Isb and Pindi. never had CNG. Driven on HOBC initially then for last 2 years on HOBC and Premiere combination of 50:50. Honda maintained, log book available. Complete stock no addons, just fog lights added. No faults of any sort just turn the ignition and drive.
There is a small dent on the front left fender just behind the head light. overall in perfect condition with no accidents. got it royal shielded in 2007 so the paint is still in original shape and still shines without polishing.

PM you what I want for it.

Buying another vehicle so can't exchange

Got a question, What should be more economical on long route (e.g. Motorway) in Steermatic, Normal D or 7-Speed Mode?

I think normal D mode, because it manages the lowest rpm possible on a certain cruising speed. Only revvs up when you floor it.

But if you're in 7M mode, the gear box is on a simulated gear ratio setting which depends upon the speed you choose the cruise and of course the gear you choose.

Just my bit, aamir bhai and anis bhai will explain more.
