Bosch FR78x are way better plugs for steermatic than ZFR6K. Saves fuel.

Can city steermatic manage to run 3000 Km in 200L? What is the cost of this car in ISB? I want to buy a city either IDS or steermatic. What is your opinion?

You are going to get a somewhat biased opinion about buying a steermatic if you post the question in a fan club but I would recommend it anytime IF you can find a steermatic with good condition and totally driven on petrol.

Price varies obviously due to certain factors involved e.g. Mileage, touch-ups, Number of owners etc but a worth buying steermatic 2006 model should not cost less than 10 lacs 50 thousand in Lahore & ISB.

Your query regarding mileage is also very open ended but Yes I get 600 km in a tank of 42 litres with a 60:40 combination of highway and local driving respectively. In 100% local driving with A/C i mostly get 400+ kms in a full tank.

400/42 lands at less than 10KM/L

    Is that correct understanding?

Last model is 2008 or 2007?

What is difference between 2009 VTEC and 2008 steermatic?

When compared IDS vs VTEC vs steermatic which one offers over all satisfaction considering all aspects like economy, drive, maintenance expense?

I wrote 400+ km's and I usually get in between 410 to 425 and averages out to approx 10.5 km/ltr in 100% local driving with A/C.

Steermatic was only sold in 2006 and 2007.

Steermatic is 1.5 VTEC while City 2009 onwards is 1.3 iVTEC. City Aspire is 1.5 iVTEC.

I wouldn't compare the city generations as its a matter of individual preference and taste but I can safely say that suspension and drive of idsi and steermatic is better than the current generation. CVT has the smoothest drive. Current generation iVTEC city has slightly better fuel economy and exterior shape. Maintenance expense is more or less same...

I need to change the tires of steermatic. I need your valuable feedback to make a decision. I know the markets are flooded with every kind of tires but i am speciically interested in these tires only.

    1. Continental Eco Contact 185-65/R15 (Rs 8500 per tire) or Continental Comfort Contact (Rs 11000 per tire).
    2. Michellin Energy XM2 195-65/R15 (Rs 9200 per tire)
    3. Yokohama Advan db 195-55/R15 (Rs 37000)
    4. Yokohama advan db 185-65/R15 (Rs 36000)
    5. Dunlop Veuro 302 185-65/R15 (Rs 40000)

Taking the profile to 65 will also make the car very jurkey but also increases the car ground clearance.
    Thank you all

@incognito, Thank you for your reply.
i have used Bridgestone earlier but i found them hard. i was asking them for Bridgestone GR90 but couldn't find it. Regarding your suggestion for Yoko, i just found one shop with the size 195-55/R15 which is some 3% change from its original size. Most of them said that they dont have 185-55/R15 or we can order them for you. My driving routine now is usually office and home, a total of some 30+kilometers per day.
