    Today Alhamdulillah my car has completed 30,000 km of satisfaction. Ahmed bhai, I'm still tooo faaar from touching the 100K km mark that your car recently did. Will take it for 30,000km service next week inshallah. Attaching some pics of the odometer:

    @moiz
    its better,keep ur car away frm the 100k mark and yes,one thing me and amir bhai agreed on just today,dont get tappet adjustments on ur car,the employees of honda guys arent skilled enough to do this job wid accuracy and u will end up messing ur fuel economy,and may be engine sound too....so just get throttle body cleaned and spark plugs replaced if needed....

    Thanks Amir Bhai. Any progress on the sale?

    @ ahmed. Many thanks for the advice dear. I'll keep that in mind. Yaar, the pace at which our odometers are running, there's a high chance that you will be 100k km ahead of me shortly.

    bhai yeh sab show shaa to sai hai but manatinance b ek cheez hoti hai. dnt go for steermatic unless u have a lot of money 2 throw. I own honda city idsi manual 2007. If u have budget go for corolla. dnt see the luxury. surely luxury is more in city corolla maintanance is less. city cluths plate waghera bht kharchay jaldi ajatay hain. n after all corolla corolla hay

    @farhan
    well, first of all let me tell u,this club is not the place for u to be...
    and the answer to ur question...

    i havent heard more then 2-3 clutch plate replacements even since idsi was born...one of them is my own car,which was going fine until a moron borrowed it frm me nd did sum messy stuff on it which burned the clutch plate just in a few hours... and mine had 100k kms on its odometer then, the job costed me 7000rs... is 7000rs too much after 100k of pleasure driving? other then that,i never ever had to change even a single bulb of it.. everything is original....i just get oil changes,air n oil filters changed on time, and the transmission oil...nothing else... compared to the pleasure this car gives, maintanence is nothing....

    this is just a misconception of ppl that hondas r hard to maintain nd costly too... nd i wud never sacrifice pleasure,luxury, fun and excitement just to get "Resale value" AND so-called "low maintainence cost"

    NEVER!!!

    @farhan, I don't understand your definition of "Luxury". If you compare Steermatic with Corolla Gli, (2006 model that is), there's hardly any difference in these cars except the fact that steermatic had Optitron meter and alloy wheels. Both cars have PS, PW and central locking. Now if any of these cars had sun roof, leather heated electric seats etc etc. then i can conclude that one is more luxurious than the other.

    And bro, you talk about maintenance. Besides normal oil and filter my car has mashallah not eaten any money in unnecessary maintenance. Genuine honda oil filter (Thailand) costs PKR 600. If you can get a genuine Toyota oil filter for PKR 200 then i would say that maintenance for toyota is cheap. My unit manager has a 2007 Gli and he had to spend PKR 80,000 to get the complete A/c overhaul because his car never had proper cooling since He got this car new in 2007 and every time sits in my steermatic he praises the a/c of the car
