It was a blown fuse! Got it replaced from Honda and also got the 50K service done. Changed following:

    oil+filter
    air filter
    front disc pads
    plugs

Also installed new tires. Maxxis vectra 195.50.15 the tires have changed the look of the car. They are pretty aggressive looking! Are you in Lahore? If yes then I can drop in some time today.

Default Impact of air pressure and fuel consumption

After watching Top Gear Boneville Salt Flats Challenge where Jeremy inflates the tire pressure in his corvette to 50 psi to reach the 170 mph barrier, I came up with the idea to inflate the tyres in the steermatic to see the benefit on fuel economy. I inflated the tyres to 35 psi and as usual filled 100% HOBC. Today I did the refill and ws amazed to see 15.03 km/L as the average. It was all city driving with 70% on AC.

well @moiz it sounds interesting and nice to read that you get the end result accordingly.

What was the previous pressure setting you were using and how much psi you increase ?? as currently I am using 32psi in front and 30psi in rear set as per stock. If I increase 5psi on all 4tires than the new setting would be 37&35psi respectively...

found this recent race video between steermatic and civic 95. The issue is that first of all the civic looks a bit modded and secondly the race should not have been a regular launch, it should have been a roll-on, still steermatic faught well!!

bro i wrote to the guy who posted the video and mentioned about doing a roll-on start. No fun with racing a manual tranny car on a standing start!!!, still you can see that the civic got the manual lauch advantage but that did not increase as you can see in the video

He also mentioned that the civic with a bit modded, you can see the youtube replies

^ Being a manual tranny, the Civic took the lead but still no one knows by how much difference it won?
One of the most difficult things in the world is to know how to do something, and to watch without comment, somebody else do it incorrectly.

The usual tyre pressure that I keep is 30 psi. At 35 psi, ride got noticebly harder and now i'm back at 32 psi. Khi roads not smooth for this kind of pressure i guess...
