Default New shoes for my ride and last expense for my ride for this year

    AOA fellows good day,

as head line say , finally changed old tires with the new ones yesterday evening.

same type like before , YOKOHAMA DNA DB DECIBEL 195-60/R15 , as i was very satisfied with the performance on these tires and they were in gr8 condition when i changed them but they were of 2006 and 4 year time passed last year got the time and changed them.

old ones went for 5k all together they did 37k km without any problem.

new ones are of 40th week of 2010 and got them for 8k each.

front 2 wheels got balanced also.

surprisingly wheels alignment were also out so alignment was also done (1st every alignment in 4 years) but from the other shop whom i know for quite long time and a honest person in his job have referred many friends and family members to him and they all were extremely satisfied with his work.

so fellows i let the pictures speak for it self.

few more things to add here,

saw few more type of tires.

dunlop sp 300 7k each tire was quoted for this tire (very soft and look impressive too) made in japan, 1 year warranty

thundra or thunder tires made in thailand 5.7k for each piece with 1.5 year or 40k warrenty kind of hard tire didnt like it too much.

and i was really impressed with this chinese tire called jinyu tires these look awesome and soft tire comes with 1 year and unlimited miles complete warranty 5.2k for each piece.

i have also taken some snaps of tires and alloys too for yr eyes only .

most of the alloys are chinese but there are 3 in 100pcd in 15 size made in taiwan they are really light weight and good looking alloys

Great shoe Adil Bahi may you have safe and enjoyable ride ahead

& this evening I received your parcel I dont have words to say Thank's to you, the way you respond to my wish is really amazing you took time for me from your busy routine & I'm really obliged for it.
I already buy oil & air filter & the first thing in the morning will be the Mobil1 in her heart. I am sure she will enjoy this blood transfusion.

Thanks for sharing Adil bhai. i have exactly the same tires but in 195/55/R15 but not really satisfied. On two tires bubbles appeared, it could be that most of the time i was travelling on lahore-gujranwala highway which was under construction and in really bad shape.

Btw any specific reason that you went for 195/65/R15, as earlier you have 195/60/R15.

u are welcome wasim bhai, profile is same its still 195/60/R15, the tire which u r seeing in last snap with my old tire is chinese tire jinyu, its really excellent tire in reasonable price tag.
db is favorite tire on PW , this was the reason i went for them first time and was not disappointed and its the same trust which made my mind again for them. u r rite perhaps bad roads can develop bubbles on tire which happened in yr case. i just traveled once in last 4 year from Karachi to Islamabad rest of all mileage done in Karachi.

    take care

Finally took the vehicle for 40K km service today. Got Honda fully synthetic oil this time (5W-30 API SM) for Rs.2,450. The non-synthetic can was for Rs. 1,650. Didn't changed the fuel filter as the total cost for the part and labour was Rs. 5,000. Also got the throttle body cleaned.

But one thing that surprised me was that they said that the front discs have worn out and should be replaced. I'm sure other members have crossed 60 and 70 thousand km in their cars and my question is do discs worn out at 40 or not. The discs pair was for Rs.7,000/-. Adil bhai i remember you had some experience. Please advise............

    Regards

Aamir bhai , its just a small thing bro nothing special . Allah aap sub ko apnay Aman mein rakhay Ameen.

@miozhussain , bro i was abt to ask u if u r going for the 40k check up but just saw u already did thats good , fuel filter next time. things are really getting way expensive than before.

let me have a look at the rotors (disc) than i will be in better position to give to good opinion. my experience regarding disc and brake is good but only on steermatic .

lets meet some day ( in day light ) and we will find a cheaper and perfect way to get them back to life if they are done which i am sure they are not.
