    Salam

@GLI, is there S in Vario, I thought its only in Steermatic.

@pico, I would recommend buying a Honda City steermatic 1.5. Honda is offering some goodies with this car, like free petrol and registration etc. You will find this car to be great comfort vise, has a really great drive, quite powerfull, good fuel economy. In its price range I think its the best value for money.

City is roomier than Civic. My big bro has a civic 1.8 Vti oriel, I have a Steermatic and we both agree that city is roomier than civic.

But if you can afford a Civic, just go get one and don't give a second thought to it.

Personaly I would never recommend buying an imported 2nd hand car. their meters are temperd, parts would be expensive and the availability of parts would be a big problem. sometimes you may find them accidented and repaired. so in my opinion imported 2nd hand car is a BIG NO NO.

@Neutrino, bro, an amazing ride for sure! Truly amazing! It was an auto, not a manual! Somehow the RPM gets stuck at the 6K mark and doesnt budge for a bit! Other than that, its a really smooth drive, very impressed!

@hsnmz, both the Vario and the Steermatic run on CVT, hence the Vario also has an S.

@GLI, but the drive of both surely differ from each other. Lancer auto is also CVT. I think this technology will become more common in future and might replace the shift type auto transmission as its more efficient in terms of performance as well as fuel efficiency.

@Neutrino, sure thing! The Lancer is an excellent car, the Civic is simply outstanding! You can always feel tons of torque at any given RPM, just tap it and you feel is surge, which is massive if you take the RPM all the way to the redline! Brakes are ABS, Lancer's are not, so the Lancer kinda loses out there! I took the Lancer up till 160 at which point you feel a wee bit short of power when you floor the pedal, with the Civic, the freak keeps on going! Turning with the Civic is amazing, cuts like a knife, but then again, since its bulkier than the Lancer, the Lancer performs better in that category! Base price, if you need MASSIVE power at any given RPM, theres the Civic, while the Lancer isnt far behind at all! These two are the best cars I have ever driven in Pakistan! Any more questions, ask away bro!

@hsnmz, yes Sir, youre absolutely right! CVT will eventually replace the traditional auto transmission! Concerning its affect on the City, Ive driven both the iDSI and the Steermatic and frankly, theres one heck of a difference in terms of performance! However, apart from the performance of the VTEC, the car's have the exact same drive! No difference at all!

citu seems roomier because of higher seating position and smaller dash, civic thou is bigger inside, has bulky seats, lower rear head roo, gives a compact feeling, im sure its not actually smaller.
