as far my lil information is tht whethr u put low profile rims on any car or suv ..thn its drives become (N) ... low profile rims are only for style ... its actually ruins the drive ...even 19 or 20 inch low profile rimmed markx have a harder drive then the normal tyre one.. .low profile rims only suits if they r factory fitted. . ..

Well larger the rims, lower profile the tires, stiffer the ride. Braking however improves.

I think getting 14inch rims with 185X65 R14 is not bad for the 2006 city - The VTEC Steermatic has even got 15 inch rims and 185X55 R15.

About honda city as a car, it has its good points and bad ones.

Value for money wise - I would rate it good compared to what you get out of a 9 lac 20 k corolla. Though Liana offers more with state of the art CNG and mp3 player - but for shape/look conscious ppl, LIANA I guess is not an option.

    Goods:
    - Amazing power steering - Electrical
    - Good road clearance
    - Spacious - Cabin leg room is good - Boot space is LARGE.
    - Fuel efficient - you get 14 km/l regularly within a city like islamabad.
    - Interior
    - Looks (take some time to get used to though and need a good pair of rims to improve )

    Bads:
    - A bit stiff suspension. (esp for some one coming from 96-2000 civic)
    - Ackward kind of manual transmission (vario is good) - The manual transmission is kind of noisy too - Grkkk Grkkkk - esp for some one coming from a 96-2000 civic. Even the gear ratios feel a bit messed up. Vario (CVT) transmission though is very good.

Attaching a picture of my car...

185X65 R14 is the best match. This is what you get in a city ZX. You dont have to worry about speed inaccuracy or fuel consumption effects much.

Change more and the speed error increases - bigger tire may bring more grip at the cost of fuel economy.

@fso thanks. I think city looks best in darker colors - Charcoal Grey and Black are probably the best. Canyon Silver is also a good choice.

Well general perception about Vario is that it does not work well with CNG - No personal experience with it though. But it is very good on petrol.

Not a big fan of Cyprus Blue. This color loses its charm pretty quickly. Looks great on a civic Vti Oriel - the whole alloy rim combination and size of car somehow make it look good. Never appealed much to me in a city - Personal Impression.
