Non genuine disc pads create more heat and you and up with bent rotors over a period of time. It has happened to me once so i had to get disc skimming done and them put in genuine ones for Rs. 2000. Same happened on my nissan sunny once so i think it is false economy. I even bought original drum pads for fiat

Front ones on fiat are non genuine waiting for the time to get rid of them and that in built horn coupled with the engine noise actually does not require use of horn at all. Now please get back to topic. Genuine parts always justify their prices and thats it.

In some cases No.2 is almost equally good at 1/4th or even 1/8th the price But Brakes should always be Genuine (If you cannot distinguish No.2s from the Genuine ones go to the Company Service). The same Company ones will cost lesser in open Market

Always go for original brake pads. Aftermarket pads are a big headache. First you don't really know what you're getting for your money. They all look the same but cost different. Many of them harden when they heat up after excessive use (like when going downhill) and then they become completely useless. I've had this problem twice. Go for the originals. It's better to be safe than sorry.
Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Thanks for your replies. Today I went to Honda center, Azhar shaheed market , babu mohallah,Rawalpindi. I bought the orginal brake pads for Rs 1300( Atleast they claimed them to be original and also claim that they provide stuff to honda service center)
They had those chinese ones also for Rs 450 aswell.

Do u own City EXIs ?
So I think its parts are not expensive than orignal Baleno JXR parts, bcos price of Baleno's orignal brake pads from 3S dealer is approx Rs 4300.

what about City's 01-02 other parts as compared to Baleno's ?

So I think I may consider City 02 in my choice , (as now a days I am searching for another car )
    what do u say ?

    thanks
