Idsi without vario sticker is a manual tranny, 5 speed fwd 1 reverse. The vario is a CVT tranny.
All idsi versions are 1298cc L12A2 8 valve motors. Practically same engine specs in 2004-2008 models, just that the 2006 onward models had a better shaped air intake and a slightly reprogrammed ECU for more efficiency.
The Idsi versions after 2006 had an optional UG grade which offered dedicated drawers under the seats, heat/sound resistive material under the hood and idsi sticker on the rear right door panel under the side protection moulding.
All these features were standard in 2004-2005 models except for the drawers, arm rests and the carpet installed beneath the tail gate (:'()
The VTEC steermatic had an L15A 1500cc motor coupled to the same tranny as a vario, just with an addition of a simulated 7 speed manual mode.
All idsi features were standard with te addition of five 15", 6 spoke enkei alloys and low profile tyres.
Besides these, power windows, power side mirrors, central locking and a kenwood cassette player were standard equipment.
