    Default CNG Capacity of SPECTRA

I guess spectra has 3 cng cylinders of 14 lits each So the total capacity is 42 liters. Isnt it too less for 1500 cc car?

BIG_BOSS, this is just my opinion, so please people dont take it to heart . I think the SPECTRA is more of a liability than an asset. it depreciates quickly, you cant sell it when you want (this dude immi7650 still hasnt been able to sell his, has lied to us on different occasions that he has sold it, but not true), and by the time you go to sell it, you'll get hardly any money and yeah please keep in mind the poor fuel average, even on CNG

Just make your own decision, if u think u can get something bettyer in your budget, go for it.

Based on my usage of this car for last two years:

It gives 9-10 Km/Liter in city
11-14 Kms/Liter on Highway (depending on Speed)

    On CNG, performance is average
    2+ Rs./Km in the city
    1.75 Rs./Km on Motorway
less then 1.5 Rs./Km is possible on continuous speeds of 80-100 Km/h

The car is heavier then any other car around which makes it less economal.

Drive feel, features, suspension, reliability is very good.

DOHC, 16 valve engine has good life, no major problems reported with Dewan regarding durability and engine life.

Pick, performance, speed is average, nothing sporty

Its a liftback sedan with lots of space, even with CNG.

In ISlamabad and LAhore second hand parts are available with some kabariyas.

Routine maintenance costs less then a Toyota Corolla or HOnda.

I have given u facts based on my own expereince. I personaly have no problem with the car, sonsidering what i paid.

    Thanks again guys,
first i think that devaluation should be an issue with first user and not the 2nd and subsequent one. As in my cars it already has dropped its value significantly over the new one so for me its "buy cheap sell cheap"
Other cars in my budget are baleno and city which both are too overvalued in the second hand market and have less features when compared with spectra.
Immi couldnt sell his car cos, i think, he is asking too much for it otherwise he could have sold it to someone like me by now.
The second sensibly priced car in my budget is civic 97/98.

    Thanks for feedback guys,
the summery is that noone has some solid point against the car except for lil higher fuel consumption, lack of spares except in big cities and low resale value.
I think i will go for it.

Resale is an issue for the person who bought it brand new...but now since we get it cheap so i dont think it would make much differnce when you sell it in lets say 2 years.
