    well dear ...
    i suggest you to kindly dont go for oversized rims with very low profile tyre it really make ur car harder and ruin the suspension early ....

    in my openion 14" rims with 185/65/R14 Dunlop (as i m happy with dunlop performance ) would be good for ur car ...

    Hope some more PWs will help u with some more better ideas
    all the best wishes to u for ur new car ... Drive Safe

    @naseerpisces

    I completely agree with scorpion80. The best size for the City is 14inch rims with 185/65R14. You can also fit 195/60R14's on to this rim but it will make u're steering a bit heavier and your fuel comsumption will go up.

    Since many people don't like 14inch rims since they think its too small. You could also go for 15's with 195/55R15 or 195/60R15. Remember that the car may look a little better but your ride quality will drop since you're running on heavier wheels and less rubber.

    If you're getting 15inch rims go for Dunlop Direzza DZ101 or Sp9000. I would prefer Michelin Energy E3A tyres because they are made in Spain and give a very comfortable ride. But they might not look as good as the Dunlops.

    Good luck with your search.

    @naseerpisces
    Get 205/50 R15(OR 195/50 R15) SP9000 tyres. I can see that you live in ISB, so don't worry about comfort, 50% of sidewall is enough for roads of Islamabad, you'll have nice sporty look with the profile provided above.

    Best of luck(y)!

    @naseerpisces Hi Bro,

    It's nice to see a thread working out on Black 2008 City. :-) i also have booked Black 2008 City but Vario and hopefully get it delivered at the mid of Next month. Same here now a days i am looking for Rims/Tyres.

    What i have checked in market you will find 14 or 15 both rims available for this ride, 15 will definitely give some hard ride coz profile of tyre will be low, and f going for 14 this will give you some comfort. But i dont know the exact impact on fule economy.

    Bro please share when you will reach on final decision also please tell me the time between booking and delivery you will get.

    goin for 14 or 15..................jes save urself the trouble and money den.........no use........wheels are basically for improvin the look and 14s and 15s jes dont cut it............if u really want rims den go for 16 or above and dont go for very low profile,people tend to forget the importance of filling the wheel well...i-e therez alot of space b/w the tyre and the body and it looks BAD........go for 195/45 16"......better 50.........trust me the loss of ride quality wont matter wen u,d catch all dose looks from people checkin ur ride...........16s din effect the fuel econ of my car nd i have em in 205 width...but den i have ultra lite weight rims......

    I do not understand why there is a big misconception everywhere. wider tyres have no (yes!) impact on fuel consumption.

    narrower tyres flatten longitudinally to put on the same amount of rubber on road whereas wider ones will shrink the longitudinal flattening by the amount it is winder.

    However, the lower profile definitely hit on comfort. Thats true.
