Default Civic 2005 prosmatec CNG problem

Guys my ride is giving me problems. Its a 2005 Civic Prosmatec VTi Oriel. Its on CNG. The problem is that recently its pickup has drastically dropped, too slow acceleration even without A/C. With A/c its terrible. What could be the problem ? Ive cleaned the air filter aswell, it was already clean though. Changed the oil aswell, still no good .

Another problem im facing is that its steering seems to be damn hard. Doesnt even look like if its power steering. I even hear a lil sound when i rotate it. its like something rubbing against something ....

lol another lil prob is the cd changer. Its a 10 cd changer kenwood. I dunno why it gives me Mechaniical error sometimes. It works fine sometimes, and doesnt work at times shows Mech error on the display.......

haha u might call it a problem car XD i havent gotten time to visit the mechanic lately thats why askin ,....Any help would be appreciated guys

For problem No. 1 Get CNG tuned, that's it, its not a big issue

For problem No. 2 Don't ever use that market walay red color power steering fluid, get honda geniune PSF and replace with old one. Its bottle is white in color and even the fluid is white in color. Try it, if problem's still there, get ur power pump replaced

For problem No. 3 Get ur CD player lens serviced for Rs. 150. Servicing wud take only 25 minutes or so... Thanx

    Azharbahi
I can’t help you a lot but I can advise

CNG is killer for automatic transmissions and it really F***ed the electronics of the car

It took me 2 months to find out Steermatic which never smells CNG lot of people install CNG in Automatic cars and than they enter in the fast flowing river of problems

    Pick up problem
    Electronic power steering problem
    CD changer problem
Sensors of gear shifting not responding properly
    Ideal control system problem.

The bottom line is when the dam CNG mechanics cut the wires the problem starts

CNG, automatic cars & electronic are not good friends

^^U mean CD changer problem occurs due to CNG o bhai bahir kisi ko na keh dena, maray ga

Ur steermatic is CVT and there is hell lot of difference in CVT and normal autos...... Pickup problem (i've no pickup problem) Power steering problem (There's no link of PS and CNG), CD Changer (As if cd changer runs on cng), gear shift (yes it effects and for this MAP2 advancer has to be installed instead of standard advancer). Ideal control (U mean idle control, no issues)...... I own 2002 civic prosmatec and what u have mentioned is not based on experience as u drive car on petrol and what im saying is all based on my personal observation

I Also Have Civic VTI Prosmatic 2004 but its not run properly before 2 year when there was landi renzo cng kit and i sold that kit and buy new Tomi titto kit from Jamshed Road Jelani Cng and now my civic is running perfectly good pickup good milage 95 kilometer in cng full tank and in this model power steering is hard because its factory setting only in VTi and Exi steering is smooth because exi has not alloy wheel.

so never use landi renzo in civic prosmatic its my personal experience.
