    Default Oil Change for CIvics

Pleasee share that what is the exact volume of engine oil required for 05Exi ??

My civic is requiring only 3.0 to 3.2 Lit per oil change and its strange for me as honda geniune oil packing is 3.7L.

Please note that oil was completely drained and I waited for even a single drop to drain.

If it is indication of some problem with engine???

3.7l exactly. Have tried that so many times. Sometimes 3.5l fill it thou. 3ltr is the capacity of small 800cc and 1000cc engines. Nothing wrong with ur engine but somehow u don't manage to spill out all the oil. That is why oil change walas give a little air pressure from above (from where u put oil in engine) while drain nut removed

it depends on many things a few are like this :
your car level (where ur car is parked for oil change) is not even when you drained
    OR
where u chk from the dip stick.
    OR
u didnt change the oil filter of your car, ample amount is stored in ur filter which is not drained until n unless u remove the filter from the engine.
something fishy about number of total posts !!!!

Just to add that car was parked at flat surface and I waited for 10 to 15 min to drain the old oil completely.

Oil filter was also replaced with new one at oil change.

It really worries me that why oil does not drain completley??

    Any more ccomments!!
