    hello?
where you live mr, xain11 if your're planning to buy one just go to the show room and have a test drive of both (you'll see the differece, also don't forget to check the interior of both the cars and outerlook as well) i bet your choice would be EXI

    though city is better in:
    1) fuel economy
    2) price Rs 900000/- compared to Rs 1160000/- for prosmatic(appox - in total)

although the 2nd point clearly marks a differece between the two

The new city 1.5 VTEC Steermatic is more in price as compared to Civic Exi Manual. The joy and pleasure of steermatic 7 speed CVT with 1.5 VTEC is great as compared to driving a 1.5 manual EXi.

ok i agree with 1.5L steermatic, iv'e seen it but tell you one thing, civic looks way more decent compared to city. civic is much roomier, though new city do have some features but my first preferece goes on looks which exi has.
and you should be comparing exi pros with new city while manual with exis keep in mind that city has alloy rims and tyres but civic without them is expensive.
and thats not it, you'll see the hell of differece when the new one arrives...

I suspect that Civic Exi is going to be discarded when new Civic 1.8 is launched as Honda has introduced a 1.5 VTEC engine in new city, any guess?
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

A very interesting move to be seen since launch of Altis. City and Civic are surely for two separate markets and so have no direct competition. Then what has Honda Atlas in mind?

My view is that City is a sporty sedan and has now evolved with more sporty objects whereas civic has evolved more into a family safe car. I backed this with reference to changes made from 95 to 06. all sporty items have taken off gradually turning it into more safe family car.

And if there is Exi in 2006 with new shape and old price then I will prefer it over city
