Great safe car. over all i luv it.
Bhai i have kept 2 cars of this shape. one was 2008 and it had the second gear issue. but trust me its not any more in my 2009 its simply gone

Every one says bad axel or suspension thats wrong. i kept 2 civic's and drive to Charsadda villages but no problem. all rumors. one thing i would agree is the car have few blind spots. i some times am looking with very much concentration but still a cycle wala comes and in reverse also some times blind corners ..

I personally think and even my friends and cousins who own this shape of civic all are very very satisfied . and ya the main issue is you have to run this car on Hi-Octane. as Company advises it. you will feel alot smoother drive with hi-octane, or else Knock problem.........

I recommend it who can afford it to have one. its the best car in this price range.

lol. The seat height adjuster only helps a bit. For like 1-5 inches which is suitable for adjusting driving position. And it really donnot helps with back view.

i have a 2010 manual oriel, with 20000 km. on the whole is it a superb car but i am expereincing a problem: at low speed around 20kph the engine makes a strange noise as if something dry is rotating inside the engine. it disappears once the speed increases to 30 kph and above. Honda is clueless and had advised that i should wait until it becomes more loud so that they can pinpoint the location. Any ideas friends?

I am not sure if I correctly understand what @spectra meant by bleeding in this context.

Let me try to think out loud in hopes I can get an input from you guys on this issue: so after getting the civic's radiator changed due to the front collision, the Honda 3S dealership didn't fully bleed the radiator piping? Naturally when the radiator and its hoses/pipes are removed all of the coolant (except that in/around the engine block) is automatically drained out. Or somehow all of the coolant from the engine block also needed to be removed to prevent the overheating problem which @spectra experienced?

Like Marbles in a can? Sounds like pre-ignition or knocking. You need to switch to a better fuel quality if this is the case

I cant frikkin believe it. I spent 2 fu**** million rupees on this car and it behaves like a suzuki cultus. Today I was going to the market and driver side window was rolled down. When I parked the car and pulled the button to close the window, it went half way up and then back down again. Tried a number of times but it persisted. Eventually had to go back home as couldn't park the car with window rolled down and this ruined half my day. Pretty pissed rite now. Can anyone tell what the solution is? I thought this problem was known to be in pre 09 models only. The car is question is 2010 vti oriel prosmatec

The issue is dust getting trapped in the window channels, there is no fix for it, its just how they're designed. Our dust ridden country doesn't play well with it.

The "fix" is weekly maintenance. Slide a thin cloth into the channels and run it up and down, you'll notice how the tip becomes black. That will keep the grime out. Also spray WD40 regularly into the channel and it will be fine.

The craziness of this pesky problem is that it only affects the driver side Window which I believe is the most frequently used one.
