Default Honda civic Swap Experts suggestions needed!

AoA! I need expert advice on which engine to get for my civic 95, keeping hp in mind. My budget is 70k(plus whatever my stock carbeurator engine gains me). Which engine should i go for which gives me the highest hp.
kindly help me out with this:
If i go for d15b 3 stage v-tec (125-130 hp) How can i improve the hp to around 160.
I want a b16A2 dohc vtec but someone told me i won't be able to get it in that 70k range. Any suggestions?
P.S. i can access isb, pindi, peshawar areas only for the swap....not khi lhr etc.
    Thnks in advance.

D15B is good option, its at peak power in D-series, its fuel economical, easy and inexpensive to buy and parts are easy too, but AFAIK you cannot gain 30hp without serious modification in some where like fuel injection, ignition, pistons, compression ratio, valves, crankshaft etc - or forced induction - well then again that would cost you more than a B16.
Changing to performance plugs, ignition cables, air intake, headers etc won't make you gain 30hp. But spending top end money wisely on these modifications, coupled with a better tranny (I'd say D15B original or D16y8 tranny with lighter clutch and flywheel) and nice tyres, you can certainly make your car fast enough to give B16 a tough time. So why care about 30hp?

Go for B series nothing like it...i agree with Civic_reborn about H22 but in the same amount u cant get a B16 and its far better for modifications and performance. Coz money u need modifying D15b to gain 30HP will b more than the amount in which u can get B16.

Thnks for ur suggestions...helped alot. I'll c if i can increase my budget, cuz b16 is something i always aimed for. Otherwise will go with d15 vtec and will do mods in it from time to time.
Any suggestions on where to get the engine from? Is pindi (that place near sadar where engines are sold) a good option or should i go get it done from peshawar?

@cloud100: A b16 type R engine is the best yeah! But i've to keep my budget in mind before selecting any, and my guess would be that this engine will come for minimum 150k, more than double amount of what i can afford rite now lol.

Go for a single stange Vtec D15b , get the headeres and down pipping along with intake, plugs and plug wires . Chipping your ECU would also help . A stock d15b is 130 BHP with all these mods you might be able to touch some thing like 145Bhp

OBD- onboard diagnostics obd1- you have a 95 civic which is obd1 so you will not have to convert to obd2, which is easy enough, you could just buy a conversion harness. also easily tunable obd2-more of a learning ecu, you can make changes in its programing, but the computer will make corrections itself to return it back to how it originally operated, or very close to it.

here letme tell u a little about vtec
    Stage 1 - VTEC-E

An implementation of VTEC for economy, it turns off one intake valve per cylinder in the 16-valve engine, and attains lean burn mode. The lean burn mode gets the air to fuel ratio above the 14.7:1 stoichiometric ratio and thus enables extra fuel saving. This can lead to km/L averages of 30(approximation depends on special maintained envoirment) if driven at a constant speed of 60 km/h.

The VTEC-E mode engages in the D15B from 0–2500 rpm.

    Stage 2

From 2500–6000 rpm, the VTEC-E mode turns off and all of the engine's intake valves are used. The engine is now like any other normal VTEC engine when the VTEC isn't 'on'.

    Stage 3 - VTEC

From 6000 RPM (up to rev limit) the engine's VTEC wild cam is engaged, increasing performance and giving boost at 7000 rpm in the D15B

Stoichiometric ratio refers to the optimum theoretical mix of fuel and air to achieve complete combustion of that fuel. Sometimes called stoichiometric air ratio.

    Alternative spellings, stoicometric, stoiciometric.
