    Default Coilovers 2002 civic

    Hey guys,

I have a stock 2002 civic vti. The car has hardly done 40,000km in total and was almost stationary(3000km to be precise)for the first 4 years maybe and as you would expect the shock absorbers have given up.

So to replace them I asked Honda as well and they gave their estimate of about 45k I think or something around that. Since I want to keep this car with me for a long time and I want it to be very good, I want to replace it with some supersoft coilovers. Not into racing so hard coilovers is not my preference. I dont mind spending more at all.

So looking for opinions on brand and any experiences if any. Would appreciate all the help I can get.

    Thank you

i would recommend that you go with original Honda.

you want ride comfort and not into racing and you can spend so thats the best option.
if you dont mind then post some pictures of the car anxious to see it coz it sounds like a very well kept ride

I was actually thinking of putting in 17" wheels in the car. Currently its been running on the stock 15". And for that too I thought the coilovers would come in handy plus adjusting the ride height would be easier.

Again open to all sorts of suggestions

and yes I've tried to keep it as good as I can. Will post pictures tomorrow as im online from my phone mostly.

my advice is keep on 15 rims if youre not into racing and stuff
as civics suspension is harder than rest and 17 rims will make your car bumpy
even though im selling my rims these days but this is a brotherly advice
secondly if you get some kind of solution for soft coil overs do mail me im also thinking of making drive a little softer on me

I know 17" would just ruin the suspension that is why I haven't touched them uptill now but I think with adjustable coilovers this problem will be solved. Thats what I think, what do others say ?

And I will def. let you know about it if I do.

The shops in peshawar have caught on that these coilovers are hot items so they've raised prices a lot. Last time i went there they were asking 10-15k, i went there two months later now they're demanding 25-30k!
