Default Civic Reborn - Average Fuel Consumption ???

    Hi,
I was just wondering to ask from the new honda civic reborn prosmatec owners about its average mileage on Fuel and CNG ???

Second question is that does CNG performs trouble free on prosmatec ??? Is CNG recommended for prosmatec ???

Thanks for sharing all your experiences and your help on this.

Guys lets just answer his question. Shall we?

In the city, it fluctuates from 8km/l to 10km/l. And on highway it does 13-14. And even 15km/l if you drive on 90-110kph without ac.

    Cheers.

prosmatec doing 10km/ltr in city is out of question. I drove very carefully keeping RPM below 2.5k and only drove long distances and still got max 8.7km/ltr

Try driving in defence or Islamabad for like 30 minutes. You will definately get it! Even you can get 2km/l if you drive in places like Ichra or Anarkali.

    Anarkali/Ichra guys are getting 2km/ltr
    is my only expression

lol. Maybe you should also give figures for fuel economy when the temprature is 30C vs 27C or when the air pressure in tyres is 30 vs 28

No offense but the economy does not matters much using your theory or driving in ichra vs defence. Considering that the generally accepted trend of proving fuel economy figures span over a full tank, driving in inchra (even if we consider it to be more fuel consuming region in the first place) would only result in a maximum of 0.3-0.4km/ltr difference as compared to driving in defence and not over 6km/ltr as you suggested.

^^ Bhai have u ever seen the traffic jams there? when u have to wait for hours sometimes that too with ac on in the afternoon?
And that 2 km/l figure is only a "taunt" by me. But it will easily make a significant difference if we compare the averages of people living in these places.

Contrary to your assertion, I do not always drive in Ichra or Anarkali. With no disrespect or pun to the residents of these localities, I havn't even driven a single meter in these localities because I do not want my ride to get scratched from the sides.

The economy figures I quoted are from driving on the canal road, gulberg and garden town. I have driven extremely short distances and long distances too. The figures always varied between 8-8.7km/ltr

Bro the roads you are mentioning are very nice and quite trouble free. And for avoiding scratches and snatching ive also left taking my civic to these areas, even when i go there i always take the santro.

Cuz in jagoun ka koi haal nahin hai. But i know a man in samnabad who keeps a W221 S600 there. and he passes through all these areas everyday. and i feel pitty when i think of not taking civic in these areas.

It gives me not less than 10 kms / lit and not above 11 km/lit in average city driving.

On an average 10.5km / lit. no exaggeration and with AC on prosmatic.

It more depends from where you are getting fuel. I have searched and noticed that it is hard to get full amount of lit.
and that reflects on Kms/ lit.
5 Lit short on tankful will make an obvious difference on Km/Lit.
    Hope you agree.

    Regards
    Jawaid
